Body Climate acquired by 
RAPP Australia Pty Ltd

Body Climate an Australian manufacturer of personal heating and cooling products has been acquired by RAPP Australia Pty Ltd.

Recognising that heat stress is a OH&S issue and also that work just does not stop when its very hot or very cold, especially for emergency services workers,  the Body Climate products are about to be integrated into the family of products produced by RAPP Australia Pty Ltd.

"Our company can easily integrate these products into our product range and they should easily enable us to further service our markets with innovative front line products".  Sales Director Mr Mark Bainbridge recently said.

"Body Climate is still virtually an unknown brand, however, the technology that comes with the purchase will enable us to follow through on some very specific product developments we have on the drawing board for some time, so the purchase has been both strategic and opportune"

"We can also see product opportunities across all of our divisions,   even our viticulture venture might be able to use some of the technologies, we are very excited about the potential" 

Whilst on the surface it seems all roses, the product production line will need to be redesigned and new plant and equipment investments made.  This will probably be a 24 month project, however, once completed we will start to reap the rewards fairly quickly.

Personal heat and cooling products are a growing market, especially in both the recreational market and the work place safety markets.
