RAPP Australia Pty Ltd has completed the purchase of all of the stock of oxygen equipment products from Laerdal Australia Pty Ltd. This sale also sees the handing over of all sales leads for oxygen products received by Laerdal Australia to RAPP Australia Pty Ltd. Laerdal has been a significant player in the pre-hospital oxygen resuscitator and portable oxygen equipment market, however several years ago Laerdal Australia's parent company based in Norway moved away from this segment of the medical equipment market and focused energies on their manikins, training equipment and their excellent range of medical devices. RAPP Australia Pty Ltd has for many years now been a Preferred Master Distributor of Laerdal Australia Pty Ltd. RAPP Australia Pty Ltd's manufacturing division also manufactures some exclusive OEM products for Laerdal and partners several development projects from time to time. Items in this sale include, oxygen pressure regulators, flow controllers, oxygen powered resuscitators, entenox delivery equipment plus many more oxygen related items. Laerdal Australia Pty Ltd will continue to sell their Bag Valve Mask resuscitators, pocket mask, face shields etc. "Our relationship with Laerdal is very long standing and we enjoy the mutual symbiosis that exists due to both of our manufacturing capabilities and product ranges." said Mark Bainbridge Sales Director of RAPP Australia Pty Ltd.
