NEANN wins NSW Ambulance contract

NEANN the well known and respected medical division of RAPP Australia Pty Ltd has been awarded a NSW Government contract to supply medical kits to the NSW Ambulance service.

RAPP Australia Sales Director Mark Bainbridge said " We have secured the Victorian, Tasmanian, South Australian and Queensland Ambulance services contracts for our ambulance products and have been knocking on the NSW door for many years.  It has been hard to get into the NSW market as they have many products available to them in their local market.  Being such a large market everyone who is anyone is in there. "  "...in the final analysis we have won this contract due to the quality of our products,  the design and our staying power"

Roger Buckle, Managing Director, also adds "..we have listened to our customer,   we also had a small opportunity about 24 months ago to help them out with some product issues they were having at the time, they saw from this that we were prepared to work out solutions to any issue that they raised.... this probably gave us the track record we needed so that they could feel comfortable making such a big commitment to us".  "Plus having Avalon Airport and Jetstar so close to us has also enabled us to more easily access the NSW markets.  Not only our NEANN division, but also our Firelogistics division is benefiting from this infra-structural improvement to our region"  Roger added.

The initial contract will be for 3 years with a possible 2 year extension.   This security has given RAPP Australia Pty Ltd the confidence to open another permanent branch office interstate.   We will also use this base as an assembly point where the products we make in our Lara plant will be assembled prior to delivery to NSW government.   This new site will have a two fold effect of increasing our presence plus providing a servicing and warehousing point for our products.  It will essentially be cost neutral as our products are bulky and its is more costly to freight  them in their fully made up state.
